Enjoy a historic sound experience and wireless freedom with the latest fall news from KORG!

With the Poetry Magnifique, KORG presents an extraordinary digital piano that, like its smaller sister model “Poetry,” is dedicated to the internationally acclaimed composer Frédéric Chopin. At the heart of the Poetry Magnifique are two world-class concert grand piano sounds: the lovingly restored and meticulously sampled PLEYEL piano from 1843, the year Chopin was 33, which can also be played in the historically correct tuning of 430 Hz on request, and the modern Italian concert grand piano, which is appreciated by leading pianists from all over the world. The Poetry Magnifique stands out from its sister model with its modern, clean lines, completely flat keyboard cover, and the newly developed EvoTone speaker system with 2 x 40 watts of power. Its classic design in “Poetic Brown,” 50 integrated demo pieces by Chopin, and an accompanying music book with 23 selected piano works by the master perfectly round off the unique concept of this special instrument.

With the BM-1, KORG presents a simple but ingenious solution for wireless MIDI connections via Bluetooth. The BM-1 is simply connected to the standard MIDI ports (5-pin DIN) of the instrument or device in question and switched on. A separate power supply is not necessary, as the interface is powered by the voltage from the standard MIDI output. After switching on, the BM-1 automatically detects other Bluetooth MIDI devices in the vicinity and connects to them. Using the free KORG BM-1 app, you can also create groups of up to five BM-1s that can exchange MIDI information with each other. If the MIDI device only has a MIDI output, the MIDI OUT adapter of the BM-1 can also be used individually. This allows you to wirelessly control classic synthesizers from the 1980s via your DAW, connect digital pianos to a tablet without annoying cables, or convert wired MIDI controllers into mobile performance tools that can take over the entire stage.
