Two new high-end synthesizers from KORG: opsix SE and opsix SE Platinum

It is well known that the incredibly versatile Altered FM sound generation of the opsix by KORG is unparalleled. It is also well known that its revolutionary operating concept with a colour-coded operator mixer has suddenly made such a complex sound generation as FM synthesis intuitively tangible. But now KORG crowns the unique concept of the opsix with a new high-end version: The new opsix SE offers the same sprawling sound generation of the standard model, but has been expanded with numerous features that are sure to amaze even the most demanding users. And as if that wasn't enough, KORG is giving the new flagship synth the opsix SE Platinum, a limited special edition that is guaranteed to catch everyone's eye.

opsix SE - The opsix for highest demands

The new opsix SE combines the almost infinite sound design possibilities of Altered FM synthesis with professional features for highest demands. It is equipped with a premium keyboard with 61 keys and aftertouch as well as an elegant and at the same time robust metal case, which easily copes with the hardest strains of everyday touring. The instrument's maximum polyphony has been extended to up to 80 voices (the standard opsix model offers a maximum of 32 voices), which means that even classic FM piano sounds shine in completely new splendour. And to ensure that the opsix SE is well protected during transport, it comes with a matching KORG hard case.
