The guitars of the VOX Giulietta series have always been characterised by their combination of cool retro looks and modern sound with excellent playability. The latest addition to the series, the VGA-5TPS, is no exception at all, and is also aimed at players with higher standards.
The VOX Giulietta VGA-5TPS is an archtop guitar that, thanks to its special features, delivers the full, overtone-rich sound of a modern, electro-acoustic acoustic guitar. With its cool design and the three radiant colour variants Pearl White, Pearl Rose and Natural / Green Metallic, it is virtually predestined for the stage. The VGA-5TPS also convinces at second glance, because the 5-ply top and back bindings as well as the block inlays in the baked Jatoba fingerboard perfectly round off the luxurious looks. The flatter maple body compared to the already known VGA-3PS and the amazingly low weight of the guitar ensure carefree playing comfort even during longer gigs. The surprisingly brilliant sound of the instrument is not least due to the hybrid bridge specially developed and patented by VOX, which consists of a combination of wood and aluminium and is also equipped with a high-quality piezo pickup. The modern sound of the guitar is transmitted via a supercapacitor preamp system, which allows a continuous playing time of approx. 10 hours with a charging time of only 15 minutes. The preamp including the controls for volume, tone and low-cut is discreetly hidden under the pickguard so that the resonance of the top is not affected by the additional weight of the electronics, and the unique look of the guitar is also preserved. The professional machine heads from Gotoh ensure stable tuning, which, together with VOX's own removable string damper, also underline the high equipment standard of the VGA-5TPS.
